A new choice for angel eyes

Hey guys, so I've been playing around with angel eyes lately and I've came across these new ones that are very bright and can be compared to the leading brands now but for a fraction of the price. I am gauging interest in the e90post forum, as many people seem to be interested. If you guys are interested in these as well, maybe I can start a group buy here as well. Below is what I posted on the E90post forum.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I have been testing some new angel eyes on a few forum members' cars during the past few months and I thought I would share it with the rest of the community. There seems to be quite a bit of interest in these angel eyes so I am making this thread to provide more information about them.

These angel eyes are 20w and are super bright and white. There was a lot of interest in my friend's thread about these lights, so I am thinking if I should start a group buy on these angel eyes if there really is enough interest.

Seems like many people are concerned about the reliability of these. They have been running for 2 months without any issues. There will also be a 1year warranty with these angel eyes.

One of my buddies ran 1 side lux, and the other side my set of angel eyes for 2 months and everything worked well. He eventually sold his old angel eyes. There is some more info on it here.

Tested also on member's 135i from 1addict. (excuse the quality, pictures were taken with an iphone. I will try to have some clearer pictures soon)

Also, have a set running on my friend's X6, but haven't gotten the time to take pictures of it yet.

Pricing wise, I don't want to be estimating until we know how many people are interested and have gotten permission from the MODs to start a Group Buy. but they should be cheaper than what's on the market at the moment. I am working with a China factory to try to get these to the community. Getting the brightest for the cheapest! I will try to answer any questions that you guys have and maybe make a list of who is interested?

Anybody know where the 2012-13 LCI taillights or the equivalent of their look can be sourced for less than the factory price?

I just received them and put them on. They are slightly brighter than the GP Thunders I put in 4 years ago at $16, but these are LED and those were not. If you want LED, these are a good upgrade to pre-LCI stock. As expected, the outer rings are not as bright as the inner rings - the way the X5/X6 halos work - they project the light source from the inner to the outer rings with fiber optic tubes.

EDIT>> pic added but the right side came out blurry so it's a little yellow... the left side more represents the actual brightness at dusk. I may take better pics tomorrow.

One additional note, at nighttime, these halos are really bright, which is a big improvement to the GP Thunders I had. The halos seemed to go to low power when the headlights came on, but not with these.
