It's only 3 years!! :) At least do some nice trim to brighten up the black interior a bit.

I do like the lighter grey headliner with the black interior on the non-sport package cars.

I haven't seen the coral/black interior in person in the X5 or X6. Only in pictures. I have seen it in a 3 series. It's bright. And now the rear seat is a bench, not buckets broken with the center console. That's a lot of bright red....

I'm a wuss. Order placed, BSM Black Dakota and brushed Aluminum.

I will get a space saver spare. I've gone through 5 or 6 tires on the M, between blowouts and those massive rears picking up all kinds of metal. It's a girlie thing I guess. I'm really don't feel like getting stuck on the side of the road.

Will you change the tire your self?

Will you look at that, a blast from the past. Hello Blue :) How are you, Bill?

Me, change a tire? No. I don't do flats. My idea of DIY is paying someone to do it for me.

It arrived at the dealer late Friday. Picking it up this Friday :excited:

As sorry as I am to see the ///M go, I can't wait. The rattles are making my ears bleed. This is the first time I've gotten a rattler. And every time I took it to the dealer it would be dead silent. I actually looked for holes and cracks to driver over with the head tech on a drive and nada.

Spartanburg quality

I think the newer ones are pretty tight, enjoy! I am sure you will enjoy the way better rearward visibility on the F16.

Honestly, the ///M is my 5th BMW, I never had on going rattle issues. Just the tailgate on the 2005 X5 which was easily fixed with felt tape.

As far as the rear visibility, I'm used to it. It did unnerve me at first.

On another note, I am so pissed. I always return cars in pristine condition. I get a kick out of the person inspecting my car when I tell them there isn't any damage and they laugh and tell me "We'll see". And they walk around and around and come up with nothing. I was looking forward to it......

Don't you think I walk out of my office last night and see something on my door I thought was bird sh*t. Upon closer examination, it's a scrape and a dent - more like a crease on my rear driver side door on the lower portion right where that horizontal line is. I'm flipping.

The cleaning guy's blue car is parked next to me. WTF is wrong with people?!?!?!? It wasn't even a tight spot, he must have either really swung his door getting out, or he pulled in close, hit the car and then moved it.

I do want to confront him, my brother says let it go. I will go back to parking in the front of the building on the zebra stripes.
