The bottom line is, during spring break, beach will be expensive. Off-water won't be too bad. The wingate is as reasonable as anyone is likely to be.

I jes' copped a room at the Wingate for Fri&Sat night.

If we, as part of TheGang, end up inebriated and sprawled
out on the Beach, I'll cab it home, :rofl: ...otherwise, it's a place
to park our heads.

Their site is easy and lots of 99 buck per night rooms,
though after the addditon of the "let's gouge the
tourist" FLA tax, it's 2 and a Qtr, for two nights.
Gotta keep the No State Income Tax deal going for all
the rich Yankee Retirees, here.

If this isn't "the spot", we will find TheGang and
have fun no matter where the damn spot turns out to be! :thumbup:

FYI... you can cancel your reservation at the Wingate Inn-Clearwater up until 6:00pm on the day of arrival. So if there is the slightest chance you may be attending, book a room now so you have it!

But...if you do need to cancel, check here first to see if someone needs the room (incase the hotel is booked/rates go up)!!
