Does the word cannoli in a thread automatically generate this kind of spam ?

Let me try...

Good evening I want to share with you as I relaxed in New Jersey, I was told that a lot of cannolis will cause me to get fat in the middle of my belly, and that I will need to be escorted to the bigbelly store for my bluejeans in the future in 1 hour or less of consuming them in America or Canada and cannolis much better in NY. Hrmmm....my X5 came standard with that wheel. I thought they all had that wheel. Is it something that only comes on the sports package? I have a 2006 X5 3.0 with the sports package.

Yeah, I do that sometimes. I always had them on in my '01. For some reason I stopped doing it with the '05. I just did it yesterday....:dunno:

Wagner 11-18-2007 08:21 AM

I'm all for Lambos (even though my preference leans to the running horse not the bull) but why candy-@ss blue for a color? Not to knock on it but that just looks dumb.

That Ferrari looks hot though.

The rim is fine! Not a scratch or a mark on it. The tow truck driver took a quick look at it and says it doesn't look bent. I'm glad I went with OEM!

Infamous 11-18-2007 11:10 AM

The color of the Lambo does not photo well. Its a love it or hate it color. When u buy your Lambo or Ferrari you can pick your color. I bought it bc it is a numbered car only 50 world wide and only 20 came to the states. In person and in different lighting the car changes color.

Do they always match the valve covers with the tint of the car or did you do that? Looks great!

Infamous 11-18-2007 11:17 AM

I did the calipers and the plenums after.

I've seen that color in person, and the orange 'version'...haven't seen the goofy lime green yet though.

First of all, thank you Edco & Mrs. Edco who greeting me and offering us coffee & food and also for putting up this GTG again right before it started snowing today! ;) Thank you SRAudio for hosting us and allow us to use your facility for what xoutpost.com is known for...the friendship that forms!

Okay, DVS took extra time composing his shots!! Awesome job and pleasure to meet you as well.

Plus, all the new people that I've finally got to meet in person such as BimmerE53 (our own Alpine specialist on xoutpost.com), and everyne else in Jersey (sorry, if I forgot your screennames). It was great to see other E46 M3s as well and see all neat mods. However, as always, it is not all about the cars as it was more about the people who drive these cars and sharing their similar passion and friendship.

I did get to spend some time checking out BimmerE53's Alpine A/V equipped X5 and it was impressive. Definitely check out his X5 if you ever get a chance to meet him in the next GTG!! :)

Okay, being from that the day before the meet, I was in 70 degree weather and then I get here & it is suppose to be in the 50s, but with the wind chill, dang it could have been in the 30s....(okay, so maybe some of us are climactically-challenged), but dang, PATRON was a nice way to warm you up, but to be honest, IMHO, it was more appropiate to have PATRON in Scottsdale, AZ where I was last week when it was in the 90s!!

Hmmm, we could have made some Mexican coffee if we had Kahlua to mix-in as well....

If you look on the bottom, where the //M should be is where mine is chrome, which I thought was a nicer finish..so maybe it's really a "sports" wheel.. I dont know or care.. I do know that it feels nicer than the 4 spoke, and it's heated which I got to really try out this morning..and that's wunderbar !

Be careful of the Patron because they will make you say things.

1) "Supra..." - Gerry
2) "There goes my exit..." - Justin
3) "...fireman's pole" - Laura
4) Michelle - didn't say nothing incriminating :bmw: weird huh?

The Canolis were off the hook..couldn't get enough.

It was a great meeting everyone from the X5 world.

- Gerry

Ps - Michelle - saw what happened to the tire. See what you get for listening to Laura and taking the exit at 100mph?:driver:

By the way - did you put a "Soccer Mom" sticker on your sister's new ride when she wasn't looking? That would be too funny!

Y'all didn't scare me off, just those comment coming out "our" mouths that was a little scary! After the 3rd shot, it was a free-4-all

Well, I CAN tell you for sure that this wheel feels softer than my wife's //M wheel (yeah, it's got the official logo and everything!)..so, maybe there's a couple of different ones.. I know that it's as "fat" as hers, and a bit softer. Now her's is NOT heated and I dont know if that makes a difference (I guess it could since they might have to compensate for the heating element)

But I'm happy..and isnt that all that REALLY matters...?

Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving everyone !
