My beast handles it just fine. With 20's on, no less. We will probably meet up somewhere in downtown Seattle. I haven't had a chance to decide that yet. If you are coming. Please post by adding your name to the bottom of the list.

I plan to attend. Count me in. (And don't let the JeepGuy nick fool you - I sold it. Sold the rest, too, in fact. Now we're just a two Bimmer family. My '03 X5 4.4i and an '04 325ci purchased two days ago.)

Be sure to keep me posted about time/locations. I'm in Mount Vernon.

Dave

P.S. Rearro, bring chains or snow tires. The Pass Police will usually require some sort of traction device. Stevens Pass can be pretty slick sometimes.

Who is Imola and why haven't they responded??
I've never been to leavenworth in the winter, do we need chains? or can our beasts handle the snow??

Imola is imola4.8isWA, he has the red 4.8is with some sweet mods.

Depends on conditions as well as your tires and the tread of your tires. I always bring chains just incase...

How about meeting in Monroe, and taking Highway 2 over the Pass? Those of us coming from across the Sound or from north of Seattle won't have to backtrack that way. The Fred Meyer in Monroe has a large parking lot, and it's right on the highway.

I Think Jeep Guy Is on the mOney with that. Those of you coming from Downtown can drive up, those coming from the north can drive Down, Those coming from Issi/ Belv Can Take 405 north( Unless there's another way) and I can Float across on the Kingston/Edmonds Ferry!!

Maybe Jeep Guy and I can meet up where Hwy 2 meets with I-5

Any suggestions???

Looks like this is gonna be fun. Are you folks gonna post pictures???

I'll be bringing a camera, for sure. Scenery in the Pass then will be amazing. Just hope my WHITE X doesn't disappear in all the snow. Oh wait, mine is the X5 that ALWAYS needs a bath - even while it's still wet from the previous washing!

Wearing new Hakkapeliitta 4 SUV studded snow tires. Should be an easy ride. Will be nice to test them out.

Anyone else coming along? Should we meet near the Starbucks in the Fred Meyer parking lot in Monroe then? Say about 10 AM on January 5th?

Dave
