Yes, I am planning on driving down on Friday and stopping over for the evening at motordavid's in N.C. and then caravaning with him the rest of the way down to Juan's on Saturday.

You still staying at my house Saturday night?

By the way, I can take a couple of more people, if anyone wants. It won't be "luxurious," but I'm sure we can find a bed or couch for a couple more folks.

By the way I am planning to bring some French Pastry with me for the partie ont Saturday. I will pick it up at my friend's pastry shop in Raleigh on my way to Charlotte. This thing needs to be kept refrigerated. Do you have any place where it could be kept between Friday evening and Saturday?

I have a fridge, but I'll have the food there for Saturday. However, I know one of my neighbors will gladly let me borrow their fridge for a night. That should not be a big deal! :thumbup:
