If anyone wants to help Alain out, I have set up an FTP site that you can upload your choice of X5World Meet pictures to. You can upload as little or as much as you like, in any resolution you are comfortable with.

If you have some pics to share with Alpac just PM me and I'll shoot you a login so you can upload. Thx.

:-) tu l'as dit bouffi. It sounds like I do not need to teach you French slang. Actually no it is not a Sandisk. It is written 'unity digital' on it.

I got NCX and Keafer's pics from the FTP site. MotorDavid sent his pics to me via e-mail. I have now a great collection of nice high res pics from the x5 meeting now. Thanks a bunch guys, you are top  Really appreciated.

Once a flash card or drive is corrupted, it's not recoverable with tools and software available to the average Joe's use.

Those things die on ya all the time. Heck the other month, I popped in a new 1024MB CompactFlash card in my digicam, and it worked fine for a day or two. Then a week later, I turn on the camera, the screen blinks white, and then goes black. Camera says "disk error".

That was the end of that. I had to format it through the PC - the camera couldn't recognize it.

Flash devices still have a long way to go... :tsk:

Phil, If you send a personal message to NCX he will be able to give you a login to the FTP site. It is great way to share high res pics.
