The limit is the AE rings design. It can only transfer a certain amount of brightness. The brightest would be installing the LED rings.

"Cold monitoring": The LCM will check the bulb every time you turn on the key. With LED, it will flicker when the LCM sends a low voltage signal to check the bulb. Thus leading to a shorter life of the bulb.
