Before doing anything, do an assessment
* figure out your min & max budget - any number is good at this point
* do a very thorough inspection
-scan, quick diag test
- listen for any creaking/cracking/popping,
- rattle/vibration/noise during idle or park or reverse or moderate to spirited test drive
* suspension related
* motor mount
* etc
- oil , refrigerant , coolant, fluid leaks
- etc....
* review your findings (repairs, regular maint and prev maint ) and then prioritize ( High , medium and low )
* compare your initial budget if can accommodate all the high priority items. If, yes do it all. Else figure out your final max budget and the rest you can figure out from here on what's best for your vehicle.
