What TQ2K is correct. I think it is a torx bit 50 or 60. Use that to relieve the tension. I think you can lock it down so it wont pinch your fingers. I did not and all went fine. I did mine with a water pump replacement. You can search for that too. I think the instructions I think it was from an E39.
