I used a T60 and a long ratchet for leverage. Plan on changing the main accessory belt too. You have to take it off to get tho the AC belt. The socket fits in a recess on the tensioner so you can relive the belt tension. I have seen that tool before but I don't know what it is for. I did not need it to change both the accessory belt and the ac belt.
