Just a couple of points
#1 Don't mix tire MFG's and tread type.
#2 Conti's have a LESS aggressive look? Maybe but Looks aren't everything and few people will notice. Besides the Conti's have an appealing tread design.
I have em they look good to me.
#3 You can argue all you want about the need for tires but if you need them you need them. Not much of an argument IMO. No need to risk safety.
I remember the old day's going to wrecking yards to get tires to hold me over. Those days are over….
# Some will argue this minor point but i believe X5's are SAV's not SUV's
