If you can get insurance to kick down some money than I would say go for it! Theres quite a bit of these X5's being parted so getting the full conversion shouldn't be to much of an issue and can probably get a good deal on it. If you have to go piece by piece don't rush it and get deals where you can. Just double check if the mounting points all line up because if they don't and major modifications are needed it can be a pain! Its definitely doable and if you really like it I say do it! The aftermath of the project will be worth while at the end!
