Totally Agree.
And everyone should have a paper shredder for anything printed with acct #s, etc on it, even basic stuff. There are many services as simple as local utilities that will give out info (often mistakenly) based on a "customer call" with address, name & utility (for example) account #. Cell phones co's are getting a lot of flack too for sharing too much info.
When in doubt, put a cross-cut shredder to work next to the recycling bin!
