My only alternative is purchasing OEM replacements, but I 'm hoping I can get a nice looking replacement set if the quality is up to snuff.

If you properly resurface the headlights then they will be as crystal clear as to the day that they were new. I redid mine and they came out perfect after doing an 5 step wet sanding process, buff them out, then place a protection layer on the surface.
