2012 X5 with comfort access.

For some time, every now and then, the parking lights all around as well as round rings around headlights flash on their own, but no alarm siren.

This usually happens when the car is exposed to direct sunlight after initially parking in shade.

Anyone seen that before?

I have an inop comfort access door handle on back order. Could it be related?
