Parking lights spontaneously flash
For some time, every now and then, the parking lights all around as well as round rings around headlights flash on their own, but no alarm siren. This usually happens when the car is exposed to direct sunlight after initially parking in shade. Anyone seen that before? I have an inop comfort access door handle on back order. Could it be related? |

Follow up. It was the comfort access door handle that was shorting the circuit. Replacement fixed it. Only happens every June when the sun angle and temp cause the right temp differential on door handle. Weird. But happened last two Junes. Last time I didn’t want to replace handle because CPO ran out. Problem went away after a few weeks.

Thanks for the followup. That is an odd one.

Interesting! You must park your vehicle in a very specific location to get this exactly in June each year!
