If your amp only has one large loom connector then it is only "hi-fi" whereas the amp with three connectors is the dsp "top hi-fi". I don't think you ever had a DSP w/SUB system. If it did then the PO went through much effort and money to downgrade the audio system; new MID, AMP, and full wiring harness. And re coded at the dealer to boot.

The other connector that you're finding that says AMP that's in your spare tire area is likely pre-wiring for PDC (park distance control).
