I have never had any engine lights until the last 2 weeks and it is only for misfires. Truck has always suffered from vibration at idle and low rpms but never any drivability issues. Confirmed that the valve seals are not an issue and the rest of the truck is original, no engine repairs. How does this just creep up all of a sudden?
Is this even possible?
Ive been reading that the Eccentric Cam Sensor can go bad and cause my symptoms but he didn't mention that, only that the shafts need to be replaced and everything that goes with it. The sensor may not even throw a code. Not happy right now.
Thoughts??

Tech and SA are just lost.... for him to just toss in "the cylinders are likely damaged and needs replacing" ..then $24k...they have no clue and just want you (1) gone or (2) open wallet.
Follow advice above.
