So, addressed the red hose yesterday.
Took it off completely, took a closer look at the clip.
Turns out, the clip was not symmetrical anymore (either due to blowing off, or earlier).
With pliers, bent it into proper shape while testing for nice fit on the pipe. Had to make
Put it back in and it made a nice click.

Rubber seal was lost though - ordered new one. So, it has to come off again, in addition to me having to look into intercooler in case the old rubber ring is in there.
But now, I can do this thing blindfolded.
