Every one has a long list of complaints on ripoff alert and local BBB's.

I had R66, and was 98% happy. They refused to pay dealer labor ($145), but we're ok with my Indy ($90). When my e60 steering rack failed at 90k miles, I had no prob when R66 insisted on a rebuilt/reconditioned rack versus new. Given the price of the contract (1/3rd of the dealer's) I thought this was reasonable.

I went wit Delta this time and assume they'll only be good on a few biggies. And I realize I need to keep meticulous records and will use the most aggressive service schedule. None of these companies are going to make everyone happy and I'm sure all will be less cooperative if your car turns out to be a lemon like my E60. Truth be told, despite being a BMW driver since the 1970's I would NOT have bought an X5 if I could've found a W164 bluetec with airmatic. Our ML's have been remarkably reliable (we have driven them all to 150k miles without any major system failures). I still own and love BMW sports and classics, but as utilitarian vehicles for long term ownership the new ones are pure junk. I've had every 5 series starting with the E3 (skipped the e12), and the last reliable one was a 1995 e34 sport 6spd). I understand the 3-series are still great long term cars...
