I pulled out the motor last Saturday, the bearing on the fan side was dry, used a few drops of the trusty old 3 in 1 oil I have been using ever since I remember around the house including on the sewing machine did the trick. Motor runs smooth now and and is whisper quiet, change the filters too while I was at it.
