Hey everyone. Decided to post here since the bimmer forums aren’t very E53 concentrated. I have a gorgeous 2006 4.8is in Le Mans with cream interior. Loaded with options and only 93k miles.

I just finished a thorough refresh of the entire suspension and many other maintenance items.
Last week it was hit in the rear while parked and sustained some significant damage to the rear and the axle/wheel well. Insurance has made me a decent offer for declaring it a total loss. Do I buy it back salvage and attempt to part it out? Would it be worth the hassle?
