The AUX fan was not working but after over a year I have now finally replaced it. However the AC is still not coming out cold and the fan does not spin unless I unplug the high pressure sensor.

I have noticed the compressor clutch does not engage, so does this mean the compressor needs replacing or is it possible the system needs to be regased? Can it lose gas without using the AC for this long of a period?
