On Saturday, I was about to join the WTF Club when I was detailing my baby and bumped the Hazard button. I couldn't get them to shut off. So I drove over to the local BMW dealership (5 min away) and discovered that the service dept wasn't open on Sat
and no salesperson could even help me find the right fuse to pull to avoid draining the battery all weekend ("Uh, I think we have to remove the dash to get at it..."). Then the local sales guy suggested disconnecting the battery
and bringing it in on Monday.
Now the good news - I called my dealership - Northwest BMW of Owings Mills.
Their service dept is open on Saturday til 3, they stayed open an extra 45 minutes (giving me a chance to get it fixed right away) - replaced the switch (under warranty) and sent me off 30 minutes later with a smile!
NW BMW rocks IMHO.
