TriX5 is on a distinguished road
Took the valve covers off today and the passenger side front cover.

Finally getting back to this project. I need to get rocking on this as I will be spending a lot of time in Europe during the next year. I want to have this ready for my daughter to drive when she gets her license in the next month or two. I picked up a really sweet set of 87s for it.

Next is the removal of the driver's side front cover and the center cover. The timing chains actually look tight and so hopefully only new guides will be needed.

The engine is a mess of oil and dirt on the front and this is not really fun but it is coming along. Once I get the covers off I plan to remove the bottom pan and the intermediate pan. I guess many a wrench to be turned.... :-)
