Almost ready for first startup after headgasket and I’m attaching the WPump and thermostat and it seems there is a stud in what I think should be a bolt hole on the lower right attaching spot. I certainly still have a leftover bolt that must go there. Only thing I can think is the machine shop put it there as a hanging point. I suppose I could just put a 10mm nut on but the stud is too short-only about 1 thread of bite protrudes.

Good grief!

Should it have a stud there at all? I wonder what to do now?
