Strange title right?

I recently picked up a 2012 e70. Cars been good so far, although the sunroof is making me nervous.

I picked the car up from a local dealer, it seems to have some sort of air freshener smell that I'm hoping will go away.

My past experience with both Mercedes and BMW - I used to own an e34 and picked up an e53 for my son - is that the German cars have a unique smell. I recall being told that it was from the upholstery using horse hair, but in any case the e70 doesn't have that smell.

I hoping the air freshener will wear off and it will start to have that traditional aroma.
