When I first purchased my X, I had read a ton of nightmare type posts about the panoramic sunroof having all sorts of issues, so the first thing I did was clean and lubricate the rails and all gearing I could access and haven't had any issues since.



However, in the first month or so of ownership prior to doing that work there were a couple of times the roof acted oddly and required the reset procedure you mentioned, and even got stuck.
