He usually contradicts the Cheeto in Chief during his addresses. Even if he is forced to cow tow to retain his position. Here's been there since Reagan I think... So I'm sure he's gotten fairly adept. I'm a layman (obviously) and of all the speakers his info seems the most earnest. I could of course be wrong.
