great thread - I followed the video on #22 - once you push the foam out of the way use a pen light and you will see a curved piece of metal and the inside silver piece of the latch attached to the hood - you want to get to the left of the inside latch (so you are between the two posts, on top of the curved piece of metal, and stay as flat as you can.

I used apiece of 1/4" acrylic rod I had laying around. took an hour to figure out I should be to the left of the inside latch, on top of the curved piece with the cutout and level.
