Some people with negative attitudes against BMW owners that aren't one themselves will regularly post, I would take that advice with an appropriate amount of salt.
Negative attitude or just being a realist? Just because I don't have a BMW any longer doesn't mean I don't know anything about them. I have given out plenty of good advice on this forum. Most of the people who have read my postings know that I am not one of those "Cliff Clavens" that I speak of. He already disconnected the FSR and pulled the fuses and nothing changed. What are the other three things he should do "Old Wise One"?
