Hey all,

I did a quick search, but as is common, the clutter makes it very hard to get a simple answer.

I am looking to rebuild an N62B48 for my 2006 4.8iS and there seems to be a dramatic difference in price between the 750i 4.8L (still advertised as an N62B48) and the one in the 2004-2006 X5. Is there a mechanical difference? Could it be a bolt pattern or spacing thing for use of AWD?
