"Don't match up" as in: I cannot swap parts across engines?



My ticker has already had its valve seals done and STILL smokes. I'm about to do the scotchbrite trick to get it to pass inspection. I would love another engine and transmission rebuilt and ready to swap in because I think these SUVs are amazing with their engines being the sole major issue. I feel like a rebuilt and improved N62 swapped in would dramatically increase the value of this thing as, everywhere else, my car is in great shape.



So, is there anything I can do to swap in the readily-available N62B48's from 750 and 550 BMWs?
