#8 can be a pita to change...not saying this happened, but I've seen where they plug & coil don't get changed when the rest are because the person just can't get it out.

I'm having this issue myself right now. The coil hits the side of the engine bay wall before I can angle it enough to get it out. It's not hitting a hose/pipe/part that can be removed. It's literally the metal on the side of the bay. I'll figure it out, but in the mean time I'm running new plugs/coils in 1-7 and old (unknown age - from prior owner) in #8. Weekend project...
