It is a little fiddly, but IIRC, you have to remove that top plastic piece that runs along the top of the carpeted trim. Several of the screws are torx-headed so you need a decent torx driver

I think there may be a screw under the around anchor ring at bottom of carpeted trim

remove the plastic around latch in trim as well.

You might get a good idea by looking at diagrams at RealOEM.com
