How do you remove this piece of trim RT trunk?
I’m installing an stereo and need to run a cable to head unit from DSP next to battery in trunk up the right side of the car. How do I remove this trim piece? Or is there a better routing method for the cable? Cable end does have a 1.5” square block connector so it needs some room. Thanks! ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It is a little fiddly, but IIRC, you have to remove that top plastic piece that runs along the top of the carpeted trim. Several of the screws are torx-headed so you need a decent torx driver
I think there may be a screw under the around anchor ring at bottom of carpeted trim remove the plastic around latch in trim as well. You might get a good idea by looking at diagrams at RealOEM.com |

Yes, you have to pull that upper plastic first. See my Avin install thread for step by step on it.
