Hi all,

New to the forum here, recently bought an bmw e53 4.8is from 2004. I'm working on the maintenance (zero status) and wanted to do a transmission oil change including the mechatronics seals.

To replace those i need to be able to readout the oil temp. in the gearbox.
I have connected the to ista and found many fault code related to "no communication"

I have checked the obd connection for a 12V supply on pin 16. which is present.

Can you guys please help what to check next?
