More problems with this little child...


My rear lid was opening on its own for 2 days, to a point where it was just contently opening up without stopping for about a minute. Finally stopped, kept driving and at home it just didn't open any more.

My key fob stopped working a while ago so that was out of the question, but the rear lid grip worked up to that point. Now it doesn't.


From my research it Seems like moisture go to it and I should replace the grip.


My Question:


Does the Trunk Lid Grip (#16) come off on its own once the 2 hex bolts are out, or do I need to take the entire TRIM (#2) off along with the grip 1st and then separate the two?
