So I asked the custom retrofit garage about my shift paddle situation. They said that it’s because of the resistors used in the new shift paddles. They have different values compared to my stock steering wheel. They said my - shift paddle has the resistor similar to the + paddle on my stock e70 and that’s why my - shifts up instead of down. I would have to change out the resistors in order to fix this. Someone else mentioned that he swapped his paddles out from an f30 and that worked.

As far as the heated steering wheel connection, I found that pins 1 and 4 (red and black) are for power and that the 2 middle black wires (pins 2 and 3) are for temp sensors. I assume on the 3 pin connector on my clock spring that the yellow is for + power and the brown is for - power. Anyone know what the middle green wire would be?
