codes that come on immediately after reset are wiring faults or faults in the component.
this is where actual real electrical troubleshooting needs to happen.
get a set of needle back probe test pins. the needles have to be small enough diameter to not cause damage to the female sockets.
there's been a few times where i caused faults when pins on the DME were bent and touching together when reinstalling connectors. likewise, i used probe pins too large and they pushed out or damaged sockets leading to intermittent or poor connections. also oxidation on pins/sockets can cause faults.
get the actual wire diagrams for your circuit and measure out and fault find with the particularly relevant DME connector to the circuit disconnected.
this goes for both Homerlovesbeer and snowdouble0
there is no quote 'solution' except to troubleshoot the circuit, and identify the fault. if everything on the circuit is great, next thing you will be doing is replacing the DME and/or get a used one programmed to your VIN and synced with the EWS system.
