Okay, back to the X5 today. Changed out 8 quarts of oil. It leaked a bit and decided to go for a full change. I had to use special hose pliers to lock in the transmission lines onto the cooler. The oil that did drain out of it sure was dark for 25k miles. The transmission seems to like fresh high mileage Valvoline oil. Next up, further leak checks before driving it up the highway at full speed. Coolant air bleeding is complete.
I raised the front then the rear. Won't do that again. The rear lift pulled the front tires almost to the ramp angle. I had to lift the front again to reposition the ramps. The small jack stands were at the highest set points for safety back up. With help, the X5 was reversed off the ramps. It has just enough clearance to work.
