You did very well too get from 101 to 161 kmi. When we were searching for replacement to wife's 2012 50i, the MTBF seemed to be 120 kmi.

The thing that terrified me with that engine is injectors usually require changing all 8!

Other than that, they do seem to be at risk for eventual rod bearing failure and as you are aware, engine out procedure to even preventive swap.

Also periodic intake valve walnut blast is no fun on n63/s63.

My next X5 will likely be B58 model.

Almost the HP of N63 but up top typical maintenance.
