Hi, I'm obsessed with the e53. I want to buy another. I'm really looking just at the 3.0i but see a nice clean v8. How much harder is it to work on. I'm not worried about the body, that I know, like the doors and the lights and interior, that's the same and I can do all that nigly little shit, but what about the engine peripheral stuff. Is it much harder? Coolant tank, belts, cam sensors, etc. I guess it has twice as many in some cases. I also recall reading something once about the valves and black smoke. Any detailed info would be nice.

Should I just stick with the 3.0. we know these are rock solid engines and transmissions.
