I have a 2004 X5 4.4i non-Nav with DSP. In the long run I want to replace the MID, DSP amp, and speakers. At this point in time I just want to replace the MID. I have the Pioneer AVIC-Z1 and would like to have it play through the DSP amp.

Based on what I have read here it is not as simple as just connecting the line out to the DSP amp (or is it?). Will an adaptor like PAC OEM 2 get it done?
