Hi all, I followed the instructions on resetting the service light (jumping pins 7 & 19 on the diagnostic port) and all that happened was the temp. display changed from fahrenheit to centigrade.

I have a 2001 X5 4.4 with the diag. port - has anyone else found that some other combo of pins needs to be jumped?

Incidentally, I tried about 10 times using various combos of key on to acc. 1, acc. 2, different times, etc. but still no luck...

Any advice appreciated!
