I tested a Cingular SLVR L7 in mine, and it worked fine. I did not do a rigorous test, but the initial stuff seemed perfect. I have a T-Mobile RAZR that I use every day, and it works.

You could always go to a phone store and interview the phone in the truck before you get it issued to you.
