Thanks MD - good suggestion and I actually do have a step ladder which I use when waxing the roof. However, I still prefer using an extension pole which I feel makes the job a bit easier and quicker. I found a cheap one with a very small wash mit at Autozone but I'm looking for something a bit bigger and more sturdy. It affords pretty decent control and I don't feel like or see that I'm doing any damage. I was just hoping that someone has something better than that.
