Any way to reset/test bluetooth?

Have an 2006 X5 with bluetooth that has been working more or less flawlessly for the almost 6 months I've had it. It seems to have stopped working.

First off, neither BT phone I have will connect.

* They can "find" the car's BT if I search, but then both phones then say unable to connect (i.e., does not even get to the point of asking for the 4 digit code)

* Controls on steering wheel do nothing now (i.e., in past, if you pressed the button that switches between radio and telephone and I was not connected, it would say "Activate Phone". I now get absolutely nothing. Also the button for voice recognition, if I was not connected would say "System not available". Now I do not get a beep or anything whatsoever)

* Both these phones can connect without issue to my other BMW 3-series with no issues

Again, never had a problem prior to now. I suspect something just went bad with the module and it needs to be replaced, but if there is any sort of diagnostic or reset or on/off I can try first, would like to know.

I noticed a lot of people on here seem to have had the Bluetooth/Assist module replaced. Is it due to a similar sudden failure?

Any help would be appreciated!
