Hey Jonk:
I hope you'll get well soon, really! I know that pain. Take a peek at my spine after a motocross accident I suffered on october 8, 2004. I had a great day at the track, and was all set to go back home. I decided to make a few laps more.........I faced a big tabletop waaaay to fast and missed the landing ramp by 6 or 8 meters. The landing was so hard that made me sat in the bike (2003 CRF450) at great G Force and compressed my T8 and T9.
Neurosurgeon told me I didn't need a kiphoplasty (
http://www.spine-health.com/dir/kyph.html) because T8 is located in a zone that doesn't have too much movement.
I'm half an inch shorter........
A week ago I went back to the track to break in my new CRF450!!!! no more big tabletops at 41!!!!
Best!
